"Fun times and Good Food @ Wild Thyme"
Our last visit to Wild Thyme in Highlands was a lot of fun. The food here is always good. The soups here are always something I am interested in. Give Wild Thyme a try I am sure you will enjoy it.
"Pet Friendly Patio"
We arrived in Highlands, NC without an itinerary. We always travel with our little, extremely well behaved, and well traveled for that matter, Boston Terrier. This being our first time to the area, we were unfamiliar with the town or what it had to offer. So we quickly stopped and asked where we might be able to eat lunch with our 4-legged family member. The Wild Thyme Gourmet was where we were directed. It sits off the main street and has the most beautiful, private outdoor patio. They were very accommodating and the food was wonderful. The service was great too.
"Absolutely everything one could want in restaurant!"
Of the place in Highlands, the Wild Thyme Gourmet was the best overall experience we had. The food was impeccably fresh, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere in the outdoor dining area couldn't have been more perfect on a summer afternoon. I had the encrusted salmon, and it was one of the best dishes I ever put in my mouth! I would highly recommend it.

The service was friendly and efficient. I think the owner served us, and she couldn't have been nicer. On the day we went, the other outdoor diners seemed to be getting the same great service as we did, no matter who waited on them. We also ate at Wolfgang's and Cypress - but, overall, the best combination of food and price were at the Wild Thyme Gourmet.

"Great Food, Warm Southern Service"
My partner and I ate at this café with two friends upon our arrival in Highlands. We took an early flight to Atlanta and then drove to Highlands. We were tired for sure! And so, when we were served by our warm, friendly, inviting waitress, it was very welcome. Both my partner and I had diet restrictions that day. Our waitress anticipated our requests to change our orders and was completely open to accommodating our requests. She was clearly out to please and give us extraordinary service.

Every item that was served on our table was very tasty and prepared very well - especially met our diet restriction requests. My curry chicken salad was delicious. The wild rice, sweet potato chips, grilled chicken, and veggie burgers were all absolutely wonderful.

Everyone's water glasses, and sweet tea, were constantly being filled up. The attention to our needs was exceptional.

"Excellent Restaurant"
My husband and I were looking at restaurant menus in the visitors center, and this menu just jumped out as being a little bit interesting and different (and reasonably priced). To be quite honest it got our mouths watering :-) We fell asleep in the afternoon, so we forgot to book a table for, but when we turned up at the restaurant on a Sat night the manager/owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, and managed to slot us into a table in the very pleasant sunroom. Great atmosphere (a cosy and cottagy interior, a very pleasant sunroom and also a lovely patio). Excellent food and wine at great prices - it all tasted as fantastic as we had hoped! Wonderful service.
100 Stars!!!!‎‎
This is THE best food you will ever put in your mouth. Everything (bread, cookies, desserts, jams, sauces etc) is made from scratch in the kitchen. Everyone is so incredibly nice. The patio is amazing in the summer & dog friendly. If you are in the Franklin/Highlands area, make a special trip to eat lunch there!‎
